This Utility Hunter is one of a two piece set which sports an all-new Damascus pattern. I applied my signature etch to this blade, which I carefully polished to a mirror finish and etched to have high contrast and crisp lines.
The full-tang is completely hardened, etched and securely fastened to contoured handle scales made from double-dyed, stabilized maple burl. Not only does this provide a beautiful, multi-dimensional complexity to the handle, but through the use of stainless steel pins and one of the strongest epoxies in the world, it creates a handle with incredible strength and durability.
The design of this blade is centered around ease of use and top-notch performance. The handle will fit perfectly in anyone’s hand, the blade includes both a flat and curved section, the tip is lowered in a ‘drop point’ style, and the edge is a fine convex designed for fine cuts with excellent strength. These attributes make this blade ideal for hunting and processing game as well as general utility use.
Though the choil area may look as if the sharp edge starts right at the transition of the handle, which would be dangerous, the first 3/8” of the blade nearest the handle is not sharp at all and will not pose a risk to the user!
